Varia Karipoff is a Melbourne based freelance arts and culture writer.
She is currently working on a chapbook and will be Cafe Poet at the Moat Cafe (Wheeler Centre) from June to November 2012. She likes the poetry of Marina Tsvetaeva, Calvino's Invisible Cities, Neruda, Nabokov, Eugenides, fig trees, seaside towns, drawing with ink, and is hoping to get better at driving. Her favourite novel of all time is The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. |
